What a nice, peaceful day I had. Yeah, it was yesterday and I meant to write this last night, but still. Better late than never, right?
So I spent the day adding a few items to the website and waiting for my mom to call. Just because I was waiting for her to get back to her home. So, once she called, I hopped in the car and off I went. I chose to drive the slower, but much more scenic, way. Yeah, I like that extra few minutes on the lonely road. The sun was shining and the music was loud. Ok, not that loud, but still.
Once I got to my mom’s house, we worked inside for a while, then went across the street to visit my Pa. He is 91 years old, but you would never guess it. He doesn’t look or act it! After visiting with my humorous and talkative mama back at her home, I headed home. Again, the longer more scenic route.
On the way, I just had to stop and take a few pics. These cows and calves were just hanging out in their home. They were so cute! At one point, they noticed my taking their picture and just had a stare-down with me… too funny.
Anyway, I love the country. I love pastures and cows. I love the “simple life”. What a beautiful and peaceful day.
And y’all, of course, I love my mama and my grandpa.
